This film evolved organically because from one day to the next
we had no idea if the puppies would survive or even walk again.
The cast and crew donated their time in the hope that
our story would have a happy ending.

With a heavy heart we said good-bye to Oliver on July 5, 2024.
He was twelve years and five months old and put up a valiant battle, overcoming bouts with cancer before reaching a point where he just couldn’t do it anymore. Oliver wanted to go with a celebration and fireworks to show how spectacular he was, and so on the day after the 4th of July he passed away.
Oliver had an amazing, long life and was such a fighter through everything. He overcame a paralysis that left him physically challenged in terms of walking and running, but he was full of a zest for life that pushed him to earn the prestigious Champion Tracking Dog title. Oliver gained such a reputation as a tracking dog that people would call Michelle to have him find lost cats and other pets. He was unofficially known as “The Great Kitty Finder”.
Oliver’s smile and big kisses were always there to greet visitors and he brought joy wherever he went. We miss him with all our hearts, but he will live on with Red and his brothers in Puppy Love.
