The puppies turned 14 on January 28th!
Who would have thought fourteen years ago that we’d be still celebrating? Scout, Shooter and Gretchen had lots of fun on their birthday, even with the frigid winter weather.
We miss their siblings Red, Oliver, Dillon and Cheddar everyday
and know that each birthday for these courageous pups is a gift.
Fourteen is quite a milestone!

Scout enjoyed a big raw bone on his birthday, along with fresh chicken soup and lots of 'lovin.

Michelle bred her beautiful yellow Hooley to her gorgeous chocolate Duffy and all four puppies in the litter are black -
so they're Oliver’s legacy.

Michelle’s pick of the litter is
Royal Gala's Twist of Fate
with the call name “Olivia”. She is quite the charmer.

A movie about dogs that tells a very human story about the power of love and commitment in everything we do.

When a healthy litter of puppies is suddenly paralyzed and vets recommend putting them down, a group of courageous women band together to fight for their survival. Nothing is off the table as they try Chinese herbs, underwater treadmills and even chicken soup.

With a heavy heart we said good-bye to Oliver on July 5, 2024.
He was twelve years and five months old and put up a valiant battle, overcoming bouts with cancer before reaching a point where he just couldn’t do it anymore. Oliver wanted to go with a celebration and fireworks to show how spectacular he was, and so on the day after the 4th of July he passed away.
Oliver had an amazing, long life and was such a fighter through everything. He overcame a paralysis that left him physically challenged in terms of walking and running, but he was full of a zest for life that pushed him to earn the prestigious Champion Tracking Dog title. Oliver gained such a reputation as a tracking dog that people would call Michelle to have him find lost cats and other pets. He was unofficially known as “The Great Kitty Finder”.
Oliver’s smile and big kisses were always there to greet visitors and he brought joy wherever he went. We miss him with all our hearts, but he will live on with Red and his brothers in Puppy Love.
